advanced slug pellets

Anyone had an animal, more accurately a very stupid chicken eat these? I only used them because they are meant to be really safe for pets, birds and children but a hen got through the fencing around the veg patch and obviously developed taste for them, not a small amount are missing
I don't know whether I should be worried about her or not....

Dear Maddy, is there a helpline number on the container, if not maybe a phone call to the vet with what ingredients the slug pellets are made of.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

At our gardening club meeting last week, the speaker spoke about them.
He said they worked by fooling the slug into thinking that it was full and did not need to eat. After a couple of days it became dehydrated and eventually died!
If your hen is eating normally, then there may not be a problem this time!

Buy land, they do not make it anymore!
Well I guess I have prooved they are indeed safe for birds as she is sill alive and kicking
Honestly, I don't think a belly full of concrete would stop that hen thinking she was being starved
From what I remember, they are made of some iron compound, good to know how they work. I left the container in the greenhouse and it faded so I can't read the text.
