When OH stands on top, he can reach the church clock to wind it up
Cheers PJ.

I find this piece of equipment a must, when harvesting my rather large Parsnips.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Parish councillors arrive on site at Milton Bryan to inform OH and OC that greenhouses are not allowed on their site, so their recent construction, erected in a mere three hours, will just have to go

Alan, was the bulldozer driver [second picture] on his driving test ?
its not a bulldozer.... if you mean the orange one in the puddle , its a tracked slew digger. sometimes called a swing shovel or a hymac, sorry to be pedantic
but the media referring to any bit of plant as a bulldozer when usually it isnt is one of my pet hates.

Once again some very amusing photographs from Alan and some amusing comments.
I have some sympathy with Richard P's pedantic point, also why do the media and commentators always refer to any tractor-digger as a JCB?
I know this also grates with my brother in law who has worked all his life for a Agco dealership.
Also why do they insist on calling the proposed barrage the Severn Barrage when it is planned to be built across the Bristol Channel miles from the Severn?
Barney
