brown spots on garlic/onion leaves

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

my garlic,onions & leeks all are covered in brown raised spots and the leaves are turning yellow, bulbs seem ok, any ideas?

It could be rust which is very common and rarely does any harm to the plants.

Our garlic leaves all went brown last year and we dug them up expecting nothing but had a fine crop.
