Hi,
I think I've underwatered one of my veg beds and everything is trying to flower (Perpetual Spinach, annual spinach and leeks).

Any tips to keep it going (I know the leeks won't store so planning lots of leek based meals over the next fortnight!)?

All suggestions appreciated.
Many Thanks.

Hi WoodyLord and welcome to the forum.

Can I just check, are these last year's leeks and spinach? If so, I'd be expecting them to run to seed around now, all of mine went long ago.

Thanks for this - the spinach was sown in Autumn. I asked my husband and the leeks are last year's (I didn't realise).
Obviously should have eaten them all before - they just didn't look fully developed (think we might have a problem with our raised bed soil).

Looks like it's lots of soup and stir fries and leeks in anything you would have had onions in!
