Merryweather Damson Tree

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

Well, my Damson was covered in Flowers, and now they all seem to have gone a bit brown looking.

Whilst a few of the flower sites have/are swelling into baby damsons, and the leaves are starting to appear, it's looking a little bit sick.

Some of the leaves have turned a bit crispy - could it be due to lack of water?

Hope someone can help! My dad's expecting some Damson Gin, or jam...!

In west Herefordshire we had heavy frosts for several days when the damsons and plums were flowering and the crops will be very poor.

So maybe give up on the jam but gin doesn't take many damsons. Save them for that!.

Hi Heyjude,
To drown your sorrows so to speak! What a great idea.
