Hi,would like others thoughts on this.
I have quite a large area of soil right next to our oil tank which I would like to use to grow more vegetables in. I am intending to put a raised bed there. This might seem a silly question to ask, but would it be safe to grow vegetables next to the oil tank - sometimes I do notice the faint whiff of oil when I am next to the tank - would this affect the crop.

Dear Julie, you normally can smell a slight whiff of oil at most oil tanks, more so the new plastic ones for some reason, i think it's something to do with the breathing vent on them.
So as long as you can't smell it in the soil, you shold be fine.
