1. Dancing on Ice they shout all the time.

2. Other people on our allotment paying less than we do. We have two starter plots. They have one the size of our two, we pay two water rates and two ground rents they pay one. It really £$%^&* me off.

3. Some one from a call center ringing me up every week to see if we have received the local free newspaper. Why

4. There are several holes on the track into our allotment site. OUr rent has gone up again this year but the holes are getting bigger.

5. The mice who have eaten three weeks worth of planting of broad beans in my polytunnel (though they are all dead now so perhaps I ought to forgive them)

My husband who has just shouted at me because I dripped a very small speck of white wine into the keyboard of the laptop because he was talking to me.

Cant think of anything else. Yet!!!

People who park on double yellow lines outside the ATM machine because they can't be bothered to walk there from the car park.

Shoppers who don't return their trolley to the trolley bay.

People who are racist but happy to eat foods produced by the BME community.

Those that make sexist remarks or gestures.

Litter droppers.

People who make dismissive comments about other religions or cultures without really understanding what they're talking about.

Those that are paid to work and don't.

Those that blame the government for every failing in society when it's individual and collective behaviour that creates most of the dysfunctionality we see reported in the press.

I could go on.........

I can answer that one, it's because the advertisers are complaining about circulation figures and they're checking that the delivery kids are actually delivering. Still very annoying though.

And going on from Tigger's remark about parking outside cashpoints is the strange behaviour of car drivers at our local leisure centre. They don't park in the car park, they park in the disabled bays, on double lines, on hatched areas designed for emergency services, in the mother and child areas, on the grass and why? 'cos they can't be bothered to walk the 50 yards from the car park to the leisure centre. They're going to the leisure centre to play squash, swim etc, so what's wrong with walking an extra 50 yards for God's sake!

Following on from Tiggers post...

People who start a sentence "I'm not racist, but..." because you just know whats coming next. Why can't they be honest and say "I'm racist, and..."

Chav teenage girls who think they are special and very clever because they 'might be pregnant'.

Morrisons wine department who line up all their wines to look tidy and full on the shelves without making sure that the price below the wine belongs to the wine on the shelf. I have been caught out buying expensive wines and realising at the til. When you complain they say it doesnt/shouldnt happen. But it does. again and again, now I have to make sure I take my glasses with me to the supermarket so I can read the name on the label and the bottle.

I've thought of another one......

Bloody BOGOF offers at the supermarket. If they afford to "give one away" why not charge less than half price and they'd still make a profit.

I feel it's just another little prod at the little people by firms that are making billions in profit every year.
Lots of love

Chanters - I'm getting really worried that you can read my thoughts....

I started to type about people who go to the gym but have to park as near to the entrance as possible, despite the designation of those parking bays, because that's what happens in my nearest town. I stopped writing and deleted my posting as I thought no-one would be interested in my grumpy old woman's moans.

It's true though - they are really irritating!!!

Same at my gym too. Loads of empty spaces at the back of the building, but No, they have to double park at the front. And it also hacks me off when the early opening arrivals rush in, park their Water Bottles and their Towels on the treadmills to reserve them, and then disappear off into the changing room for ten minutes, denying anybody else the chance to use them. When I complained to the Receptionist, she said "Well, people get stroppy if you tell them off about it". I couldn't resist retorting "Well, if I pee in the swimming pool in future because I can't be bothered to get out and go to the loo", that will be alright then too, will it?"
She didn't know how to reply to that one.

Lizzie, follow them and when they have vanished into the changing room move all the stuff to lost property.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

Today's grumble:-

Shop assistants who, when you are at the counter and obviously waiting to be served, glance up and say "are you all right there?"

YES I'M FINE HERE. NOW PLEASE ASK ME HOW YOU CAN HELP!!!!!!!!!

Cooo, I feel better for that.

Oh, and anyone else who asks if I'm all right there. If I wasn't all right here I would go somewhere else. Grrrr.

It saddens me that so many people seem to have a grouse about so many things! I am sure many of the annoyances mentioned have happened to me, but so what? I am healthy, have a good roof over my head, enough to eat, a loving family, the sun is shining (occasionally, anyway), so why should other people's bad manners or whatever annoy me? If somebody really bugs me, I tend to tell them directly, politely, but directly, rather than grumble about them. At least I've got off my chest then and can move on to something more exciting!
