Hi piyush. I'm the oddball with an ordinary name, which I typed into "user name" because i thought it was for a security check. I'm not all that far away from OH, with an allotment on private land, which has just had a kick-start from an enthusiastic new secretary and her husband.
Yesterday she heard on 3-counties radio that there were "no allotments in bedford or Luton" [There are 4 council-run sites in bedford] So she phoned them up, told our story, and now the radio people are taking on a plot!
She caould sell eggs to chickens, that one.
