Sorry, I did not get a reply sent when you posted the good news that your machine was fit and well again...pleased to read it was working well again
I suspect using just the 2 tines would be quite ok...but I would have thought you would be best retaining the use of the depth skid.?..as that is integral to the usual correct operation of a rotavator as the means to hold the machine working steadily through the ground..
Without it you may perhaps find yourself running along into the next County..rather than digging to Australia..??!!
