Hello all, I hope that none of you have suffered this week as a result of the severe gales that many parts of the country experienced. I have posted my latest update of my progress at my allotments, I hope that you continue to enjoy them, regards Steve.

Hello Steve,
and thanks again for your weekly update. I enjoy reading them, and the pictures always inspire me to get on with things!
My sprouts are about ready to prick out, and my red onions like wise, looks like I will be busy over the easter break. I have booked a couple of days holiday to make sure I get everything done!!
best wishes, Emma.

Hi Steve,

I also am enjoying your updates, you seem to have quite a few things that i also have and being able to compare is boosting my gardening confidence.

Two questions for you, when did you plant your garlic, mine looks very simialr but i planted it last autumn. Is yours more recent than that?

Also, the picture of your PSB... do you wait for it to get any bigger than the picture, or is the plant in the picture ready to harvest. I have similar, and i have harvested the central spike, the rest of the plant is very similar to yours should i pick it now to encourage more shoots, or will the shoots get longer?

Had great plans to join your live chat last night, but had visitors call at 6.55 and stayed until 8.55! Maybe next week.
:)
