Someone has already asked this question to me.
Tesco charge a small fortune for publishers to join the scheme - and then take a huge commission of any sale made from it.
This leaves us with very little, and subscription revenue plays an important part in supporting the magazine as it stands.
Large companies like EMAP can afford these costly schemes, but we cannot.
It might still be considered at some point, but not at this time.

Well i would rather see a Church fall down than buy a magazine from Tesco's, who do they think they are dictating prices to the small supplier, whilst making huge profits.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I'm with you all the way OH. I won't buy anything from Tesco if I can help it. I certainly wouldn't buy magazines!
Unfortunately they are the only supplier I've found in Rugby of peppermint cordial, but at least I buy a dozen at a time to avoid too many visits.

Don't take it personally pump-king - you've just innocently stumbled upon one of our 'hot topics'.
I'm with you OH and Chanters. I even gave up a Saturday morning to march with the good people of Bridgnorth to stop Tesco building a big supermarket in the town. Sadly, they got permission for a little one, but that's easy to avoid!

pump_king wrote:Why cant KG join the raft of other magazines that are part of the Tesco Clubcard Deals, surely if KG was part of that scheme it would:
A) increase circulation
B) increase the grow it, eat it, live healthy lifestyle we have all chosen.
Now there's the thing, Tesco wouldn't sell as much junk food and if you grew your own you wouldn't buy their veg.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

Dear Mandylew, they are probably having to hire a larger lorry to deliver the seeds.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
