One day Peter, one day...

I'm so tired this morning I've had to come to work for a sit down. Thank goodness my brain still works 'cos not much else does without protest.

Allotment looks good though. 8)

Evening all, just got back from a rather fun filled evening at the Stables in Wavendon, for those of you who might not know, it's the place that Cleo Laine started.

There was an eight piece band playing, which one of them is my friend. They only play for fun normally, but put this gig on for Willen hospice and the Stables fund, and managed to raise a large sum of money.

The main reason for posting this is, just to say what a good job so many people do of raising money for these charaties.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

OH, in the BBC there is a n ews item about Sandy Town Council, such an unlikely name for a gardening forum post, but anyway, they are appealing for landowners to volunteer their land for allotments!

Not you is it, trying to expand your illicit carrot groing scheme?

OK, so if you're Sarah Raven, do you wear skirts all the time 'cos it makes it easier for al fresco peeing when caught short in the garden? This was discussed at some length a long time ago but we never had a proper answer. :?: :D

Back to square one then. Hmmmm, I'll have to give this some more thought.

Personally I think a day trip to Milton Bryon at clock winding time may be the best bet.
