A pane has broken from my greenhouse roof in the wind, thankfully it was safety glass and went into hundreds of little pieces no glass shards, but now i need to replace it, tried b&Q but no longer have that size. Its 2'x45" wheres my cheapest bet of getting one, a glazier, or (preferably) somewhere on line can get it delivered, would i be better to go for polycarbonate this time, to be honest its lasted 5 years and when this sheet broke, 3 others fell to the ground and didnt break so i'm really impressed it must be strong stuff.

Look in the Yellow Pages for a local Glazier...they will supply any grade of glass and cut it to size for you....saves a lot of messing about
I am in my own little world, ...it's OK, ...they know me there!
thanks i got one although its a bit thicker than the ones already on there, didnt realise, not sure it will matter but its too windy to put them back on at the moment, the door has blown off too now, thats a tricky business to get on hooking bits underneath and getting wheels aligned on top, if i remember correctly lots of bad language when we put it up a few years ago
Don't be too long sorting out the greenhouse....I saw a greenhouse explode a few years ago at the allotment when the wind got into it through a door that had blown open
It spread glass over five plots....it was spectacular if frightening... the frame was twisted beyond repair.
I have a lot more respect for the wind since....no comments from you please OH
