Very funny Rooster.

I still get a buzz out of buying things for the garden even after this many years, so it can't be that sad.
The best has to be buying seeds.

While we are on about growing things, has anyone else heard that famous old Warwickshire saying,

If Chantal can grow it, anyone can grow it.

Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Please don't get our beloved OH thinking he's a celeb, he will have to start worrying obout his figure and will have to go and buy a whole new wardrobe. I wouldn't wish that on anyone...

The Amazon site is a bit misleading as the book is still available from Book Depository:

http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/WEBSITE ... 0812967380

We use these people a lot for books in preference to Amazon. Their service and prices are almost as good
and delivery anywhere in the world is free.

Didi anyone see this story in todays Times?

A disgruntled ex employee of Barclays did a little bit of research on t'internet about the CEO of Barclays. He then phoned them up and got a credit card in the CEO's name, giving them his date of birth etc. He received the credit card and proceeded to rack up £10,000 worth of debt before the fraud was discovered. Barclays have re-imbersed said CEO and admitted that "some staff training and familiarisation would be undertook in the very near future"

Personally, I think good on the guy and, if I ever met him, would buy him a drink.

Now, i'm off to google a few peeps

PS, i'm saying nothing about Herbys soap problems
Lots of love

As long as it's not on the block i'll be ok

Tomorrow i'm having a tooth surgically removed so the old bottles going a bit now. I'm having to go into the city centre late afternoon to have it done but may have problems getting back out again. It's the opening of Liverpool 08 and all the roads are being closed off. Over 10,000 people are expected to converge at St Georges Hall to see Ringo Starr and other "surprise" guests. Hopefully, they won't bring Cilla cos she's likley to get egged

Just hope the whole thing doesn't take too long, that I don't need too many stiches (last time it was 6 in my jaw) and that I get out in time to get home for painkillers before the Novocaine wears off
Lots of love

Ouch Lizzie

If Cilla does turn up give me a shout and we'll lead the egging, it would be a pity to use my girls' eggs but hey it would be worth it
