Was feeling really down just befor xmas after doing a shift in Alder Hey childrens hospital with a beautiful little girl from Wales,who is really ill on the oncology unit and i asked if any of you would say a little prayer for her.Well God has answed our prayers, because i have just found out she made it through xmas and is comming back to L.pool for more treatment :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
A BIG THANKS TO YOU ALL THAT SAID A PRAYER FOR HER,BUT DONT STOP.

Perhaps we should say a prayer for the Royal Marsden. :roll:

There were two people on the surgeons table when it caught fire, imagine coming round in the street sewn up with nothing removed. :cry:

I guess the delays caused by this specialist centre being out of operation could tip the balance the wrong way for some......

Sounds like rewarding but emotionally challenging work. I'm not sure I could cope so bless you for being one of the special people who can.

Rooster,i wouldnt say i was special,maybe stupid.I have a waking night tonight and tomorrow with the little one :D Then the rest of the week i will be in teares hoping she gets through the next week :? it is very emotional,i think the nurses who work in oncology are underpaid for the job they do.
Peter you are right about the poor people in London, a candle has already been lit 4 them.
