My next door neighbours Mum has had terminal cancer for a while now. The doctors didn't think she would last to Christmas, but she told her family she would see Christmas day in with them.
Last Thursday night they were told she probably wouldn't make the night out.
But her dogged courage saw her through, she battled on but very sadly passed away at five minutes pass midnight this morning, but she was true to her word.

I really do feel so terribly sorry for them, how i wish i could just make things better for them all.

I know no one wants to hear bad news at this time of the year, but i just wanted to share the courage of an amazing lady with you all.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Words just aren't enough OH. But I can understand having lost my dear John 18 months ago to the same disease.
I have just come back from the cemetary. Very saddened to find the plant (a large Agave) I had put in a pot and had been flourishing very well was missing.

Dear Beryl, we can only hope that people who steal or vandalize at cemetaries get struck with never ending guilt in later life, but i don't suppose this will be the case.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
