While i was at work today raking up leaves, my mind wandered onto other things as it does.
I started to think about some of the members that no longer come onto the Forum.
I found it quite sad really as some had become quite good freinds in a virtual sort of a way.

I suppose things change in peoples lives, and things change their course.
One person that i think is a huge loss from the forum, has to be Jenny Green.
She always had some really sound advice, and it normally came with a little humour, especially when directed at me.
So if Jenny or any of the others that still have a look on the Forum read this, please will you say hello. :)

Now what did i use to do before i got enticed onto the forum. :wink:
And if there are any of you who reckon the wrong people have gone, i'm sure i don't know what you mean. :)

I wholeheartedly agree with you OH regarding missing Jenny Green and her contributions to the forum. May I also mention missing Sandersj89 who went by the name of Jerry; his contributions were always very welcome. However the one that I really miss the most went by the name of the Organic Freak, I certainly will not forget her.

I can't put myself in the same ranks as Jenny, (for a start she knows something about gardening) - but after a pause of two years studying, my allotment and this site are back in my life. Glad to see a few familiar names are still here. Hi to you all form sunny Brizzel

Dear Old Herbaceous, I'm very touched that you remember that.

The course was very hard work, especially with all the computer programmes you have to learn, but I am now qualified and working... still a very steep learning curve though :shock:

My boss is succumbing to pressure from all the allotment holders in the company and is including raised veg plots in the design of retirement homes - we will take over the world!

Dear Di, i think the biggest of congratulations are in order, i really do think you have achieved something very worth while and hope it proves to be of great use.

Don't forget to remind yourself of your achievement once in a while. :)

I looked up Jenny Green's posts and you're right OH, she hasn't posted since the beginning of October. But then others of us can go quite long times without posting - have a quick look to see what's on the forum and only post if something takes our attention. Or else we get bogged down by life - either work or family - or things don't go too well and we don't feel like posting.
