Following up on what Giulia said about White Fly not liking Lettuces I was browsing trying to find the actual properties of Lettuce and on a site and I came across this:
From a guy from St Albans.

I once put myself on a beer and cabbage diet. I can vouch that I lost weight, friends and control of my lower bowel, often simultaneously.

I simply can't stop laughing.

A friend of mine who has veg from me is strenuously resisting all my offers of Jerusalem artichokes.

She says that a couple of years ago she went to a friend's for dinner. On the menu were mixed roast veg and she ate a several dozen "unusual but very nice small potatoes".

She says she couldn't sleep for the noise (every 30 seconds or so) let along any other emissions

She's too scared to try them again

There's enough hot air and wind around for anyone at the moment

My cat loves bolognese sauce..
sadly he then lies on my bed with his bum pointing my way and a concert begins. Everyone has their digestive limits.

Oh Giulia, you've just reminded me of my cat, Shadow, who's been departed this earth many years now. He absolutely adored chilli, especially the kidney beans, but afterwards  He'd sleep on my bed and snore loudly punctuated by even louder botty burps. I had to wear ear plugs and keep my nose under the duvet but often I couldn't sleep for laughing at him

He too was very fond of bolognese sauce, the more garlic the better; that didn't do him any favours either. I had five other cats when he was alive and mercifully not one of the others like the same food.

Happy days, thanks for the memory.
