To Pete and Submariner, amongst a number of ineffective England players, I thought Farrell stood out as particularly lacking in any real impact or contribution to the game.

:roll: Worst of all was the "frozen" way he seemed to approach taking a dropout (either at re-starts or 22m). It was understandable as by the end, I think he realised that moments afterwads, the ball would be returned into touch somewhere behind where he was standing :(

I have no gripe about Farrell's initial selection, but I think subbing him off would have been kindest to both him and the rest of the team. As Bristolian, it also shames me to say that Perry wasn't that hot. Oh well, perhaps England will do as well in this competition as they did in the Cricket World cup earlier in the year.

Hi all. There is some kind of mind set in SOME Welsh people that England are the great satan (to use a frase!) Not all Welshmen support the English opponents. I would rather see a British team win than a foreign one. However, having said that; the English press bring about all the anti English feelings among the other people in Britain. The coverage of this World cup is a for instance (terrible grammar). Instead of showing the opening ceremony, what did ITV do? They showed the English team and rabbited on about Jonny's injury. Even now, when the pundits are being interviewed, it's over to the English camp and Geraint someone. They never go to the Sottish, Irish or Welsh camps. It's things like this that alienate the other parts of the country. Anyway, rant over. When England and Wales get to the quater final, anything can happen. Wilkinson and Barclay are fit, and with one at outside half and another inside centre, a lot more pace will be brought in, and there is no substitute for pace.

Yup and rewatch that segment where Robinson just got a finger on the ball to prevent an SA try.

Robinson is reported as being up for playing later in the tournament!

Emotions running a little high? A little high!!!! I've not come down to earth yet and am still prone to bursting into tears at the memory. :oops: It took me months to get over us winning four years ago.

I could hardly stop grinning at my neighbour who supports Wales (:lol: :lol: :lol: ) although I was kind enough not to say anything when they went out last week ( :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: ) I just couldn't help myself today. I was doing Tigger impressions around the garden and he happened to be nearby :roll:
