Crikey Lzzie, I thought that was something out of Star Wars

Actually, she is cute, nearly as cute as Grock
Kindest regards Piglet

For the mouth, I can heartily recommend dentafresh - not dentachews, as they have milk in and this can cause runny tum.

For the coat, i use cheapo human tea-tree shampoo, this pretty much gets rid of even fox-poo odours...

For the ears, i'm afraid it's just gentle cleaning with warm water and a damp cloth.

Thankfully i haven't had any problems with the rear glands, so no advice there...

... sorry I haven't got any ideas on keeping dogs fresh-smelling though!!!

OMG Lizzie (the dog Lizzie, naturally) has obviously never been in a house before. Two steaming piles of um deposits left for us this morning! Bit of toilet training needed methinks!

Anybody tried those dog loo things that are buried in stones in the garden then stuff put on to break down the aforementioned deposits?

Chiefie looks sooooo cute!!!!!! Will try to post a piccie of doggie Lizzie but am notoriously poor at doing things like that. How do you do it?

Hi Peter,
What a wonderful shot!! So full of vibrant energy!!
I rather like GSP's they make wonderful beating dogs. My mate used to breed them and had one he could control from about a quarter of a mile away. However having said that I belong to the anti-shooting brigade so perhaps I shouldn't be singing their praises on that front.
What is the name of your lovely dog? Certainly a joy to behold.

I visit dogpages, as it sounds a dog related chat room and these pearls of wisdom are from there.

It isn't necessarily a good idea to shampoo too often, it can give some dogs dandruff. They do vary in their susceptibility, just as we do. Try bicarbonate of soda sprinkled and rubbed into the fur and then brushed out.

For fox poo try rubbing in tomato sauce (the boughten kind) before shampooing. Sounds odd but (imagine the cheesy voice)'you know how difficult it can be to get rid of the smell, so you end up shampooing the spot several times? Not with miracle tomato sauce....'

And the concensus on dog pages seems to be that unless you have a very small dog, and therefore a very small amount of poo, no those dog loo things don't work.

Our dog usually rolls in badger poo, which has an unholy smell, but we've had to dig up our drains this week and Sige (can't do the accent over the e on this keboard, to make it the correct French spelling) has been very keen to help with the digging. A Brittany that smells like a septic tank is something that I can't recommend, so she's been showered. She loves the shower and will voluntarily lift up each leg in turn so you can do a thorough job.
I use a doggy product to wash her because the human ones remove too much of their natural oils and can give them a skin condition.

I used a photobucket account, used images and you cut and paste the image id number over.

I do like your dog Tigger. What a cutie.

Piglet. You are very naughty. Chiefie is sitting on me which is where the arms have come from. He's always done that if he gets nervous. Sweetie the cat was around so he normally tries to get as far away from a beating as he can.
Lots of love

Lizzie
