My outdoor tumbler toms have fallen to potato blight.
I'm not sure exactly what this is. Is it a virus or mould? I cannot burn the plants, but would it be possible to compost them?

Hello Submariner
I would never consider composting any material affected by the dreadful potato blight fungus; unfortunately the only safe way I know is to burn any blighted plants.

Cheers Barney. I thought that that was the only answer, but, burning is not allowed here!
