I too am a cat person who used to own 3 but am now down to 2. The lottie also has a pack of neutered feral cats that help keep the mice population under control.

I also have a nutty dog that Sweetie the cat beats up on a daily basis.

Try this website www.mycathatesyou.com. Hysterical.

Mind you, there is an old saying which applies to humans as well as cats. What is it I hear you all cry!!!

"Never spit on your own doorstep!!!"

Wise advice.

Never SPIT on your own doorstep? Blimey, you're refined up there in Liverpool!

Yes - great picture, lovely to see the sunshine too. Sadly my cat gets a nose bleed if she goes as far as the end of the garden, being a not-too-terretorial female (and getting on and lazy). Anyhow, I have Friday and Monday off as a long birthday weekend, and my special treat to myself is to spend those two entire days at my allotment! I went to chuck the kitchen stuff in compost bins this morning, the snowdrops are in full bloom, the primroses are out and all the frogs are in the pond busy making frog spawn for the first time this year. Spring has arrived and it really doesn't get much better than this (apart from having to go to London today - yuk!). :D

talking about things on peoples door steps reminded me of a game we used to play up here in l.pool,i know its getting off the subject ,but here goes.......we used to pick up dog poo and wrap it in newspaper, then we would place the paper on someones doorstep and set light to it,we would then knock at the door and hide.the person would come out and see the newspaper on fire and then stamp on the paper too put is out.....you can all guess the rest  ha,ha i was such a sweet child

I used to tie peoples door knockers together with extra strength invisable cotton. We'd then pull the cotton and watch as people stuggled to open their front doors.

Remember when we were on that holiday Grock when we were kids and we were in the field watching the doormice climbing the wheat and feeding Henry the Pig. Mum didn't know where we'd got to and it was dark. I thought she was going to kill us when she found us!!!!

Yep, it'll be great for the kids. I can see the 2 babys doing exactly the same as we did. It'll be great. We'll talk about it if you like. Take them all to a farm. There are some great organic ones that are really hands on so the kids will get all lovely and mucky.
