How happy was I?

For some reason it felt as though all my little plants were happy too. Everything feels better in the sun, dunnit?

We had home grown basil, peas and salad for lunch, but nothing else is ready yet, cosof the poopy weather. My courgettes just look the same as they did when I planted them out last month . They seem to be saying 'and? where is the sun? am I bovvered?'

Lovely sunshine here too yesterday...blue sky and fluffy white clouds..and local Spitfire T9 too. :)

I pulled the Wolf 3 tine cultivator through the garden..letting it all breathe again. :)

..more tatey tops removed first though

..and this morning it is Pea picking :) ..if I can find a way to crawl into the tangled rows..

It's our town show today...on the playing fields just up the road from here...so hopefully another Spitfire flypast later.. :D
...forecasted thunderstorms permitting.

Dear Clive we had an unintentional fly pass at the fete yesterday, i think it was a Spitfire, but i'm a complete novice when it comes to planes, thinking about it that goes for most things in my life. :)
We have nothing but helicopters about today, all heading to Silverstone, and no i don't know what type they are before anyone asks.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

A lovely weekend here too 8) and the Red Arrows went over yesterday for some reason. However, the storm clouds are gathering and it looks as though it will throw it down again soon. Ah well, it'll water in that lettuce that I transplanted.
