Thanks OH the weather wasn't too bad was able to dodge the showers most of the time, except on the Monday in Brighton we got wet and blown about.
We feel better for the break.plenty of walking and a bit of shopping.
Yes they could do with a visit from you to liven things up a bit,the big deal after the evening meal was Bingo,I choose to go out for another walk and then come back and read my book.

ha ha I've heard that about Eastbourne too - a group of workmates went some years ago and said they were knocking on hotel windows to see if any of the people moved or if they were dead. There are lovely walks to be done around the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head though and if you ever get the chance visit Herstmonceaux (sp?) - very beautiful grounds and there's a herb farm nearby.
