Runner bean flowers not setting

Last year mine didn't set until later in the year because of the heat. This year I don't have a single runner bean so far, presumably because of the cold and the wet. Anybody else having the same problem? Have all the poor bees been drowned?

Dear Primrose, i have got exactly the same problem, loads of flowers up to the top of the canes, but very few are setting.
As soon as we get a little better weather,and the bees are about again i'm sure we will be O.K.

I have been soaked through on three separate occasions at work today, but i'm still smiling because they are on abut some nice weather later in the week.
