Geoff, you are welcome to any and all of my honeymoon photos as I'll be on my allotment for a fortnight and Tim will be in Scotland playing golf. The perfect holiday. 8)

Errrm, well, not quite.
Definitely looking for something though!

I think he's got them, is that Lizzie & Grock in the back of the charabanc with all those other ladies? He's heading south now, avoiding the motorways as his old bus won't go fast enough...

If he's home he's very quiet and having seen the variety of transport he's had to use today, I'm not surprised.

He started off quite well
Image

but the traction engine was just too slow. so he tried to speed things up a bit

Image

but he wore the poor lad out and had to resort to his own legs to try and get home

Image

However, his little legs are a bit short for such a big bike, so he made himself some roller skates, which broke after just half a mile

Image

and was last seen on a unicycle he found beside the road,

Image

unfortunately he was being seriously harassed by that dog, so who knows what happened next.

It's early morning in Milton Bryan, but the crowds are already out to welcome OH back home.

Many of those poor souls camped out overnight, just to catch a glimpse of him;

I do hope he speaks to them all personally

I had worried about how his allotment would have fared during his absence.

I had visions of something like this

My worries were groundless - what a cracking job his neighbours have done looking after it:!:

They seem to have rebuilt most of the village too.

Welcome home
