I have two cucumber plants in my greenhouse that are growing nicely up canes with lots of flowers and the first fruits nearly ready to pick. I have noticed that they plants have branched out from the main stem and these limbs also have flowers and fuits forming on them. My question is - should they be removed as with pinching out tomatoes to allow the main stem to continue or should they just be left?

I could be doing it wrong but I always let everything grow as it wants and let all fruit develop. We seem to keep the neighbourhood in cucumbers so it works.

If it worked in the past - do it! It's what I do and I always get enormous crops.

Yes, I also let mine grow how they will and try to ensure that their roots are in plenty of rich compost to nourish their prolific efforts.
