I'm inspired - doing Gordon Ramsay's fillet of beef with a gratinazed mushroom glaze on Tuesday. As you can tell - I buy all cookery and gardening magazines.
Husband (Lyndon) is doing pudding - something to do with chocolate souffle and Baileys.
Sounds good - we might make it to our 30th anniversary on March 6th!!

Sounds interesting??!! I work in mental health, so not so far removed from Joe's world in many ways. Lyndon is much more sensible - makes furniture and specialist joinery.
Looking forward to gaining a few more pounds on Tuesday - is that romantic????

Here in N. Scotland it has been a very good weekend - sunny yesterday and mild and dry today. I have not been in the kitchen - but have been sorting out the greenhouse, getting my long handled fork unbent by the local blacksmith, buying potatoes for chitting, sowing sweet peas, pruning apple trees and roses, and training the new puppy not to re-dig my veg. beds or eat the manure. Where is everyone? - just getting on with it outside?

Up the plot all day Saturday after hearing the forecast for Sunday.

Did a Liz with the propane torch on last years weedkillered couch on my new bit, then put Howard to work on it.

Then varnishing my son's new Ikea bookcase and finally retired at 9 to watch the video of the rugger. Italy gave the commentators a fright if no one else.

The sea tried to reclaim the land by airdrop overnight, so sunday could be devoted to more bookcaseing and a nice sunday roast before watching the celts have a argy-bargy. Did you like the last try of the match piglet?

Been busy sorting out the beds down the lotty. They have grown that tall that ive had to pen them in to stop them collapsing finally getting to use the small stockpile of 6 meter planks of pallet wood i scrounged from work. Finally after 4 years my plot is starting to go no dig and mudless.

Hi all
I've been down to that big polytunnel in Cornwall,I could just immagine it divied up into allotments and us from TKG forum running it and feeding the whole of Britain.Dead dissapointed there was no decent vedge patch in there.
