How exciting is that!!! Moved house in April, and have just had it installed!!!!!! Woopidoo!! (Only those who are gardening freaks can understand the joy I feel)

My little tomatoes at last have a home, along with my peppers, cucumbers, aubergines etc etc.

However, the rain has proved that the gutters just fill up with water then overflow the long horizontal edge and don't flow down into my water butt!!!! Always something, eh?

Dear Mazmezroz, i think theres a lot of us who can understand the joy you are talking about, i must admit i've enjoyed mine the last two days, as it hasn't stopped raining once.

Good luck with yours. :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

How about drilling a hole in the gutters Maz? That way the water wil go straight down in to the water butts?

I think having a greenhouse to retreat to is even better than having a shed! Alas I don't have room for one, (only a little plastic covered 4 shelf affair) so I envy all of you who have them. And if I had one, I could retreat out there on a rainy day with a good book if there was no potting up to be done and escape the football on TV !!

My first strawberry ripened today! *sigh*! Because we moved, I hadn't had a garden for 9 months, and had kept 3 strawberry plants in pots which have followed me round 3 different houses up until 5 April, and now I put him in my lovely greenhouse, he ripened!!!!! And we shared him. Half each. Oh joy.

Just remember mazmezroz that there is more joy in Gardening Heaven over one home grown ripened strawberry than in a whole punnet of Sainsbury's imported ones !! After so much travelling around and loving care, I hope you ate it VERY slowly !
