Although I hate football, I have to admit that there is something very moving about 48,000 people singing You'll Never Walk Alone at full volume. It does stir the innards, so to speak.

We have a small, little game on Wednesday, so i've been told. Looks like it's the 'puter and mp3 player for me then :?

They will. I have a particular love for loud rock music :shock:

My argument is you wouldn't go to a classical concert and ask the orchestra to keep the noise down would you? :?

That's why I use the mp3 player. It's only me I deafen, not anyone else. :shock:

For the National Anthem, i'm with Billy Connolly. He believes that it should be sung to the theme tune from The Archers. It should perk it up a bit cos, frankly, it is a bit of a dirge. :twisted:
