I've just arrived home to find I've been sent some giant poppy seeds (Papaver somniforum) by a company called Seedsense.
I can't remember having ordered these at all. Can anyone remember if there was an offer in TKG or somewhere that I've forgotten responding too? :?

Maybe they got your name from a mailng list somewhere.

Their Web site says they only sell to distributors, promotional companies and retail packet seeds companies?

Curiouser and curiouser! There's no advertising material or anything in the envelope, just a small pack of seeds!?! :?

Well if it's a secret admirer he knows the way to my heart! :D
It's more like a freebie thing as there are only about 30 seeds in the packet. I wouldn't have ordered them as I think these grow wild in my garden anyway - are they the opium poppy?
Anyway, I think it'll just be one of life's little mysteries!
