I always put out coddling moth pherimone traps out in early June. However, this year the fruit buds on my pear and apple trees have already started to set. Does any one think it's too early to put them out, or should I go ahead post haste? Reason I am asking is because, although the fruit have set does that mean that the moths are about also?

No, I don't think it is too early.
I always hang mine beginning of May anyway, as do most of the others on our lottie.

We put ours out once the blossom has fallen - probably next week, by the look of things!
