I know there arequite a lot of things you can plant in pots. I am moving shortly and want to be able to take my garden with me so to speak. I was wondering if things like Rhubarb could be grown in a large pot at all...or is it a strictly earth based plant.
I have strawberries ready for a planter and I could used some other ideas on what would thrive.
I also thought since they veggies would be in pots they would be easier to move to follow the sunshine.
Nothing to big as they will most likely have to be moved and I dont want to risk damage if they are too big.
Cheers
Julie

Rhubarb crowns can be lifted and split, although it is a bit advanced in the season. They can then be put in pots with some original soil from around them. Strawberries and raspberry canes will go in pots or bags. Veg started in pots and cotainers can move, but not usually transferrable from the ground, although small brassica plants and maybe small curcubits which should not be out yet should be ok. Good luck!!
