you cutie pie Grock,
perhaps you could wrap tatties in foil and bake them in the bonfire embers and serve them with some really nice homemade toppings, you could put a big poker in the fire and heat some mulled wine in the traditional style of plunging the red hot tip in and watch it bubble.
How about some of those Balinese ballons that go up with a tea candle in, they would look romantic providing they dont crash land and burn Accrington Stanleys club house down,
Toast marshmallows on the ends of sticks and feed them to each other. If you light the barbie whilst keeping warm by the bonfire, your food choices become even better. Cut a lobster in half lenghtways and bbbq it and serve with melted butter

Be careful in the greenhouse Grock, you know the walls are dodgy. How about ordering a nice currie with loads of garlic and pulses.

Are you sure you can get him down the allotment in the dark on the promise of a special treat, after what you did to poor piglet?
Seriously the nice home made meal sounds good, a bought in meal might save you some trouble. How in heavens name will you get a meal for two into the greenhouse and hot, not burnt, without himself noticing?
A spot of his favourite tipple(s), a good beer/wine followed by a sipping drink, whiskey or sloe gin?

i can keep the casserol warm in me bra, although i think it might be more practical to keep it warm on me cooker in the shed, got all the mod cons in there.piglet, liked your idea of the mulled wine and hot poker,do you know how to make the stuff?i dont think he'd like it stuck in his can off stella, and do you think it's wise talking about red hot pokers again,or have you found a new fantasy.....the grock chaising you around ye plot with a hot piece of rod.
i must go to confession, but i think 1000 hail marys will take a long time, and i cant be arsed

My sentiments entirely but, on Mon Feb 06, 2006 at 10:42 pm someone went on this posting and said "Muffins", take a look. Why muffins? What muffins? Who's muffins?
