Put your drape suit and beetlecrushers away for another year OH....Do you still wear a bootlace tie and a pair of those bright flourescent socks?
Another lovely day forecast so I am off to the plot in a moment...I managed to dig over one of my beds that had green manure planted in it....I was surprised how easy a task this was in view of all the rain we have had
What a cracker.

Alan i always get up early just incase i miss something.
Weed no i don't have any of the clothing mentioned above, it would be a bit modern for my wardrobe.
Thats the beauty of growing green manure, you can normally dig it how ever much wet weather we have had, as it does soak so much of the rain up.

For anybody who didn't see the dawn this morning!
It was as good as any sunset I have ever witnessed.
The only snag is they say "Red sky in the morning Shepherds warning." Are we to expect some bad weather later on or does the warning give us an insight to an impending tragedy? Lets hope it's only the weather. Again!
JB.

We haven't had a decent day all week - weather-wise. It's gray and overcast and raining again today, so probably won't make it out to the plot.
Maybe I'll rake up the mossy-thing I call a lawn in my back garden.
My windowsill seedlings are doing well, so I'll play with them in the hope that the weather will clear up next week.

Cracking Photo Alan. Another of your accomplishments?
When I see photograph like that, and others from around the countryside, it makes me realise why I stay in this country for my hols! What country can beat it?

Thanks Sub bach
If you want to see what its like round here have a look at
http://www.geograph.org.uk/gridref/SH4338
and move on from there. Some good pictures of North (and South) Wales. I think there are even some of England and Scotland too
We don't bother with holidays at all - anyway the hens and ducks keep us at home.

Sun is out and we are walking round in T-shirts. Been to the lottie this morning and dug the potato patch over ready for planting, weeded out the overwintering onions, garlic and kale and nattered to the neighbours.
Have had to come home and get cleaned up as expecting visitors this afternoon, but day off tomorrow, so back to plant the spuds and other great deeds

Today was not as warm but still pleasant, few people on the plot doing repairs from the strong winds a few weeks back, some digging and weeding, a general sense of optimism, went home at 6:25 for dinner and it was still light!! The giant cold frame is all but fihished, forgot to take the camera, but I will do next time!! I promise!!!
Oh and I managed to let the one unoccupied plot that we have, so we are now fully occupied and do not have a waiting list, how about that!!
