Sticky predicament

My allotment neighbour who recently took possession of my old 8' x 6' greenhouse was apparently working away in it last week merrily planting seeds.

At the time he was the only person on the site but fortunately another neighbour turned up in time. The first guy had slid the greenhouse door back and it slipped off the guide rail effectively locking him inside.

The only time I got stuck on the site was when I locked my vehicle keys in my shed (snap locks) with my shed keys still locked in my car...don't ask!

Anyone else locked in..or out?

Morning Weed, i've been locked out on numerous occasions, but i would rather not go into details.

I got locked into the loos on our site once. Luckily I had just been given my first ever mobile phone. It was lunchtime, and I had to work my way through my contacts to find someone to rescue me! Very embarrasing. Needless to say, I've not used them since. Aren't sheds great!

I got locked into the loos at work once. Had to nearly damage myself to get the lock to open. Rather that than run the risk of one of my students seeing me climb over the top of the cubicle.
My greenhouse door frequently locks me in (either that or one of the offspring is having a laugh) but I have a cunning method of getting the door open from the inside.

I and a friend were once locked in our flat with the flat keys.

The door was one of these weird ancient things that you could only unlock from the outside and our flatmate had left late for classes locking us in, not knowing we were still there.

We ended up missing classes that day as it was before mobile phones and we couldn't get a hold of him until he came home. Well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I've also been locked out of my plot and had to climb over my barbed wire covered fence, ripping my jeans, luckily not in the bum.

So here's another then...,..

One old timer had a bonfire a couple of years ago...he had for many years been involved with the Scouting movement so he had a bucket of water close by....'be prepared' and all that.

He got sidetracked talking to a neighbour and didn't notice the fire getting out of control until that is a length of the hedge caught fire.

Someone called the fire brigade to put it out... poor chap..took months for him to live it down.
