Good morning Steve, may i just say what an absolutely wonderful update you have compiled this week, with some very useful tips.

I hope when the chef arrives he isn't one of those miserable ones, although i have jut thought he won't be able to pull the wool over your eyes, as you used to rustle up the odd meal. :)

We have had so much rain this week and last night the ground is completely water logged, so i won't be planting much for another week.
I'm starting more things off in the grenhouse this year so i'm not to worried about getting on the allotment yet.

One more thing, i'm impessed with your steps, if i was there i would have my little level out just too check.

Hope you carry on forging ahead this week.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

There's no fool like an old fool.

Thankyou Oldherbaceous, one of the chefs they have in mind for the job came and cooked the owners and myself a 5 course meal as a way of showing us what he could do, the meal was excellent however I was rather concerned that when the owners said that they wanted him to use all of my wonderful home grown veg as that is their main concept, ( there was just 1 baby Carrot on the main course plate!!)his response was that he could use them in a soup!!!!, I think that he could have shown a little bit more imagination than that but never mind I'll sort him out. I hope that your spirit level isn't too accurate, however the steps haven't collapsed yet which is a good sign. Sorry to hear about how wet your soil is, I'm afraid that it looks like we will be getting a bit more rain this week but I still have plenty to do, regards Steve.
