Can anyone tell me in what year the next Shrove Tuesday falls on the 29th of february, and when you know that, how many years will it be from that date until the next one. :?: :)

OH....

I seem to remember this as an 'old' question years ago to which the answer was that Shrove Tuesday was a racehorse that fell in a race on that date.

I am not sure that Shrove Tuesday (the racehorse)is still around and if so is in any fit state to race anymore....it must be fifty years ago at least the story did the rounds :wink:

Well, Weed made me laugh, :D Alan has the first bit right, and Barney has got the first bit right too, but the second bit wrong, unless the really old book that i found it in is wrong.
