I didn't think Jopsy would be that worried if a silly old fool like me remembered or not. :(
I'll have to get one of these prettier bedfordshire girls to fluff up my pillow then.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Sorry it takes me so long to reply, never have enough time now.

Nugget's name is Aidan.

I managed to make it out to the plot on Sunday after a rough night and morning with Nugget. Boy, did I need to get out there and do nothing. Finished cleaning up the broken glass, started tidying the strawberries, dug up some leeks. Now if I only had more time.

Happy belated birthday, Jopsy. Hope you bought something lovely with the b-day money.
Welcome to Finland!!

Dear Jopsy, this is the best time of the year to sunbathe, it saves getting sunburnt. :)

Well this weekend, I have been mostly.......picking up broken glass, I took six stacker boxes to the local tip. Was very undecided on what to replace the glass with, any case what I decided on was to buy a polycarbona kit from B&Q already cut with lots of clips etc, with the sheets in standard sizes, so £140 quid later!! I have the glazing material ready to go. Glass would have been cheaper, but am running the same risk again of breakage.

My amazing Father in Law and I moved the shatered frame to it's new spot and started to repair it, looks like we will be able to do it, even where the man horizontal strut and gutter snapped, we have managed to effect a repair with some brackets and nuts and bolts. Another weekend should have it glazed and ready to go, OH is becoming an allotment widow again, bless her.

If I am not on the plot, I am not happy.........
