Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

Would that be at home in the garden or on the allotment Piglets?

I've got a stream at home, alongside the veg plot, but I can't say it makes a huge difference.

Wellies and torch and dog prevail. Despite lots of frogs and toads undisturbed about the garden.

I once collected a whole lot of slugs and put them in a bowl from which we fed our regular hedgehog visitors with cat food. Do you know, they were completely ignored by the hedgehogs! And our snail are too large, it seems, to be of interest to the thrushes. Frogs and toads from our garden pond don't seem to have made much inroads in them either. So, it's always back to brutal killings, I am afraid.

Cant you remember the huge pond in our garden Tigger, we can grow hostas with gay abandon, thanks to toadie.

The new one is going on the plot, right near to my large newly built cold frame.
Kindest Regards, Piglet
