Dear Jenny 'the organic freak' Green, the Dorset Naga, i wonder if they got the name from a nagging woman with a fiery tongue, i can think of a couple of people like that.
I suppose the powers to be will soon ban it, unless it carries a health warning.

I hope everything is all well now.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I have some seeds of this to grow next year but I'm not keeping the plants, a chilli head friend of mine wants them.

Maybe I could use the chillies to make a nice bowl of chillie and rice for my mother in law

From what I've read you could actually kill her with a bowl of Dorset Naga Chilli, always assuming she managed to eat at least a spoonful. When they make chilli products with this one the workers have to wear medical strength aprons, gloves, goggles and face masks.

Fair enough Chantal.

I'll use a milder one for her

If you want to spice up your chillies try treating them a bit on the harsh side with less watering and poor soil. Even the humble Jalapeno treated this way will blow your socks off.Peppers treated this way tend to find their way into my pickled onions to spice them up.

I've read chillies are a stimulant, Lizzie, so you'll either kill your MIL or show her a really good time.
Thanks for your kind thoughts Herby. All is far from well with my friend but I've got over the shock a bit.
