I always used to think that the theory (sic) of Intelligent Design was a load of old rubbish. For those of you that are not aware of it, the theory (sic) claims to find a creator of the universe through scientic observation. It was developped, I suppose, as an alternative to Darwinism. The it struck me this afternoon: there has to be a creator behind stinging nettles, because who else would have designed this plant with bright yellow roots so that gardeners would be able to more easily spot them and remove them from their vegetables patches!? Theory (sic) proven...

why do chickens lay so many eggs? most birds lay a few , sometimes only one, then give up till next spring, except the ones who go for a second clutch after the first lot have flown.
