Mr Potato Head

Clive, funnily enough I had thought about naming a 'look' after Gunby... perhaps this time next year!

(Of course, I would have called it Tattershall, but there's not much of a veggie connection!)

Oh for heaven's sake, what have you DONE to it Mr PH? The new format kicked in this time I logged on and I'm sorry, I think it's terrible!

I'm changing my profile back to the one I know and love. :(

OK, what have you done with it? Where'smy profile gone? If it's there I can't see it.

By the way, there's a free seeds advert that's stalking me.

I also like the 'current' look - the only request would be to add the 'Previous topic/Next topic' buttons to the area where the 'Watch this topic' button is - then we wouldn't have to keep going to the top of the page to move back and forth between topics.
Mr Potato Head

Blimey, stop looking, it'll only make you all feel sad! I'm still working on it, and the end result will be lovely, honest!

I prefer the colours this time, green is so much better than turd.

If only I could find my profile I'd change back to the old one, honestly I would. Can you do it for me Mr PH and I'll promise to leave you alone to play.

Little Miss Echo here......with Wellie.

Give me idiot proof instructions and I'll try to not to get too confused, but I've been known to fail.

Someone tell me what's changed??????

Well Mr PH, at the moment one word spings rather readily to mind.

Inconsistentcy.

Get the one look and feel all the way through and I'll be ready to give you a critique. Well I say you, how many are on your design implementation committee?

Let me revise that opinion , slightly.

Why no "Back to top" button?

My poor mouse is so tired I've had to promise it extra cheese.

The variety of colours is a bit startling, but I guess it's a work in progress.
Front "table" of forums, nice.
Posts in a thread ok and colour matches above.
Threads in a Forum, hmmmm, can we try the colours matched?
Edit and Post and New thread pages, dodgy eh picasso.

It is rather hard to spot the "Unread" topics, or am I missing something?

EDIT.
Yes I was missing something, a little spot on the ball going round. Shame on you Mr PH, have you never read the RNIB guidlines for website readability. :(

EDIT 2
Why does the ball go purple?

Mr Potato Head

Finally, some constructive comments!

If you're still looking at the Wimpole look, then you'll see it's (hopefully) getting a little more coherent. It's not finished yet though!

(I couldn't agree more; those little spinning ball things were awful - not my design I hasten to add!)

Mr PH, thanks for the flowers.

Looks better tonight as far as colours go, this posting page is still blue rather than green.

Thanks for the back to top button.

Any chance of the "No more topics in this forum" page having the selection bit to hop to another forum. e.g. from General Chatter to Growing Places.

I like the green, it is restful and appropriate to a gardening website.

The thought crossed my mind as I read the Forum Index that your new look is inching its way slowly towards the old look.
