Still cannot quite believe the stupidity displayed by some people. For evidence go to www.metro.co.uk and view the video clip entitled "Bumfire night."     b  b

I heard about this on the radio and couldn't believe my ears; then it went by on the BBC ticker
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wear/6132140.stm

A friend of mine who works for the BBC sent me a recording of the newsreader on the Ken Bruce show who tried to read out this story and collapsed in tears of laughter; I wish I could put that on here too.

Does this guy even HAVE a braincell? I think I'll nominate him for a Darwin Award.

Not quite the same topic but on the same word "arse"
If you go to BBC Listen Again Radio 4 Open Country, Bronte country, there is a nice little bit about Victorian cartographers sanitizing a property name of High Arse meaning in dialect that it was in an arse-shaped valley, they made it High House that it certainly wasn't!

Very sadly I know where this has come from - and its strange the BBC hasn't made mention of it.

This 'stunt' was performed by Steve-O in Jackass the Movie which was out 2 or 3 years ago and its sequel is due here any day.

The movie and series does some very stupid stunts but does clear warnings of 'don't try this at home'
I guess some people never learn ;)

Jackass was mentioned on our local radio but I had no idea what they were talking about and presumed that's what they thought of this idiot :?
