Hi
I'm wondering if anyone knows a good place to purchase Allgold raspberries cane's from in North London or Essex area? I am having trouble finding any and the ones I've seen (mail order)seem rather expensive...
Many thanks,

Ayletts in St Albans is a good nursery and might have them, head from M10 to Hatfield.
Ring 1st though to check.

Well, it just so happens that this months KG has an offer on raspberries (inc Allgold). It'll be on the website too, from Thursday.

Oh, and I didn't think T&M's price was too bad...

Thanks!
I will wait and see what the KG offer is first then... The mail order all gold and autumn bliss comb looks v. interesting.
I guess the price isn't too bad, but my local nursery has 5 canes for Autumn bliss for about 6 quid. No all gold there thou
What would be the latest I could plant these for a good crop next autumn? I'm abit of a newbie, and my new veg patch isn't dug up yet (moved house), so I'm wondering how long I have before they either sell out or it's too late to plant them
Many thanks!

Well, I hate to sound like I'm blatantly promoting the mag here, but there's a big raspberry feature this month with all sorts of planting tips!

Honest, I would have done the same last night but my BT Internet was down, along with thousands of others.

Thanks, that sounds v interesting. I have room for about 10-12 canes in my patch I reckon, and was hoping for a 50/50 split between autumn bliss and all gold... but might have to settle for 9-3 I suppose!
