Just a quick note to introduce my new sprout - Aidan Michael was born on 10 Oct weighing 7lb3oz. It was luckily a quick birth (8 hours) and while I had a few problems, he came out healthy and happy.
We're home now and took our first trip to the allotment yesterday. He wasn't terribly impressed, but it's early days. I can't believe how much I missed the place. I've added a photo of his first day as my avatar, with my leek bed in the background, desperately needing weeding.

Hope everyone's well, I'll try to catch up with all the posts soon.

What a beautiful little boy!
So glad you're both well. He looks very contented.
Brings back memories of my 3 sons as newborns. Sadly those days are now over (too old, too poor!). Make the most of it Gerry. It's hard work but over far too soon!
Looking forward to seeing you back on the forum.

My warmest congratulations to you all, lets hope he turns out to be a budding gardener as children can get so much enjoyment out of it.
Please take it nice and easy for a few weeks, if thats possible with a new born.
Nice to see you back by the way.

Dear Lizzie, if there are any cuddles going spare, save some for when you meet me.
