I've made so many jellies and chutneys this year I'd like to make some jam combining the above. Any good recipes anyone?

I have a bag full of cooking apple windfalls, a pound of victoria plums (they looked so good I bought them - must be mad
) and four, not very large, quinces from a friends' garden.

You could have a go at preparing the fruit, weighing the lot and then cooking with an equal amount of sugar. Usual jam rules. I've made apple, raspberry and blackberry jam this year without a recipe. Worked well.

Thanks Chantal - that is just what I did. I cut the plums in half to remove the stones, cored the quinces and apples but did not peel either. After cooking the fruit till really soft I sieved the lot to make a very think puree then added sugar and 10 grams of grated ginger, boiled it all up for a few minutes and it made three jars of lovely jam.
Back to chutney for tomorrow - courgette and tomato well spiced.
