There's a very simple 'Good Housekeeping' recipe for Cucumber (or Bread and Butter) Pickle. It's one of those that you read the recipe and think it can't be worth while, but it turns out to be excellent. (Bit like the Green Bean Chutney recipe.) It needs 3 months to mature before opening but it lasts a year or more in the jar.
I've been making it for a number of years now.
Does anyone want it?

Me too - had a look this morning and don't think I can eat whats there quickly enough (especially as its been raining these last few days).
