I have a slow worm in my compost bin. Is this good ?
Make it a habit to be happy
Hi Happymouse,
It may be alarming to find a Slow Worm in your compost but they are totally harmless and will not
do anything untoward with your compost. I have my doubts that it will stay there now that it has been detected but will be off to pastures new.

How nice.
Note that they are a protected species.
A housing re-development was held up for months locally while they were humanely trapped and re-located. Pity, would have rather kept them and not had the houses.

Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.
