Marmande ripening

Need to know the best time to plant?

Hi all

My first Marmande are nearly there I think but they are red underneath and give if pressed but the tops are still orange.

Is this common/OK, should I just pick and get on with it?

mine are doing the same. a lot of the big tomatoes in the spanish supermarkets, especially out of peak season, are the same so i guess its normal.

I've planted Pantano this year. One or two in the greenhouse have ripened (though they're not very big).

However the ones outside are a "proper beefsteak" size, but not yet ripe:
